What We Offer
Vermont Diagnostic Imaging offers ready access to high quality CT scans, X-rays, bone density scans (DXA), and ultrasound testing at a much lower cost than is otherwise available in Vermont. We offer same or next-day scheduling for almost all scans. We are conveniently located in Williston and parking is free.
Who We Are
We are an independent, non-hospital based, and physician-led center focused on providing easy and quick access to lower cost advanced imaging services in Vermont in the outpatient setting. We pride ourselves on providing patients with a very high value option for advanced imaging services and in being part of the solution to Vermont’s well documented healthcare affordability and access issues.
Quick Access to Testing and Results
Patients can usually get imaging services within 24-48 hours, and our board-certified radiologists quickly deliver the test results and consultative reports. Our system allows direct delivery of images and reports to your provider’s electronic health system so that they have quick and easy access to your test results.
In many instances, this ready access to testing allows patients to avoid having to visit hospital emergency rooms or urgent care to get imaging services, and the associated much higher costs. For example, suppose you suspect that you or a family member has a simple broken bone. Instead of going to the emergency department or urgent care, you could call your primary care provider who can arrange for you to Vermont Diagnostic Imaging to get an X-ray right away. You and your provider will get the results soon after, allowing for a much quicker diagnosis and start on the best course of care. Both cost and wait times are much less.
