Vermont’s Independent Diagnostic Imaging Center

Vermont Diagnostic Imaging (VDI) offers ready access to high quality CT scans, X-rays, bone density scans (DXA), and ultrasound testing in the Burlington area. We offer prompt scheduling within 1 - 2 weeks for almost all studies.

At VDI we offer a wide variety of tests including:

  • CT scan of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. CT scan of the head and neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. CT scan for cardiac calcium score, lung cancer screening. CT angiograms. CT to evaluate the pancreas, appendix, check for diverticulitis, and many other conditions.  
  • Ultrasound for assessing the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and rule out blood clots in legs and arms. Other vascular ultrasounds, screening for chest and abdominal aneurysms. Thyroid ultrasound.  Pelvic ultrasound. We offer breast ultrasound for screening.
  • Our DXA scan is used to check bone density and determine one's risk for osteoporosis, bone fractures.
  • Our X rays check many conditions including pneumonia, arthritis, fractures.
